Deception

deception

Day 28: 28th April 2015 NAPOWRIMO

Deception

Her Kohl lined eyes deceived all

She took their money, love and pride

Not even thinking

Taking them for a ride

Later she would laugh with her friends

How she took men for fools

Then

He came one day

Powerful, smart, with rippling muscles

He moved with a grace

Of a man

Free of hassles.

She pleaded with him, to love her, to hold her

He did all that

Her intention was to deceive him

Yet she fell in love

He walked away one day

Laughing

Giving her what she gave,

Deception, like all the men above
