Day 17: 17th April 2015 NAPOWRIMO
When hungry, eat your rice;
when tired, close your eyes.
Fools may laugh at me,
but wise men will know what I mean.
Your words leave us inspired, spellbound
Your knowledge, so profound.
May you be the guiding star
For mankind and their visions afar
Your teachings encouraged people to have faith
You showed that their natural spontaneous mind
Is the true Buddha-Mind,
A pure state of being
Where one does not obstruct, block, withhold, or repress anything.
Freedom from attachment does not mean to be without feeling,
But being completely at one with any situation.
A pathway to spiritual healing
To live an ordinary life good
Just be your ordinary self in ordinary life,
Unconcerned in seeking for Buddhahood.
Pure Mind is the “true man,” the Buddha as a whole.
Followers of the Way of Zen, we bow to
The Zen master, The man, The monk
Lin Chi, you are immortal in our mind and soul.
