Day 12: 12th April 2015 NAPOWRIMO

Midnight Lullabies

They daughter curled in her mother’s lap

Ask for more

Her kind smile spread across her body

She sings

Midnight lullabies

To the daughter

She holds.

On a full moon night you can see them too

Mother and daughter

In harmony

In peace

With the rising sun

Their bodies take the shape of the clouds and

They vanish away

The midnight lullabies unfinished

They’ll come back another day.
